Squad entry
A Diver may enter the TID LTS via selection from the TID Programme, this squad is only for non swimmers. A Diver may enter the TID Lesson by way of progression through the Bradford Aquatics Swim School Lessons or the TID Programme. Divers may also be selected by the Head Coach from various other methods of identification e.g. holiday lessons. Entry into the squad is at the discretion of the Head Coach only. Maintenance of a place within the squad will be reliant on the commitment of the Diver to attend sessions, a willingness to learn new dives and a willingness to compete at events. Further to this, the attitude of the Diver will be key in determining entry and retention within the TID Lesson & the TID LTS.
Kit
Each Diver must bring the following to each training session – Wet & Dry
• Appropriate clothing i.e. Shorts, T-shirt, Socks, Trainers, Costume or Trunks
• Suitable drink: Water or an isotonic drink. Any other drink is unsuitable for training, Please ensure that you have enough to drink throughout the session
• Towel
Events
Competitive events will be selected by the Head Coach, throughout the training year. These events will be used to monitor Diver progress along with other means of monitoring to establish a full picture of progress. Divers must attend events in order to sustain a place in the All Stars squad unless agreed by prior arrangement with the Head Coach. Please refer to the club calendar for targeted events.
Retention
There will be a three-month trial period for all Divers that are new into the squad. Retention in this squad is purely at the discretion of the Head Coach.
